Kent is placed in the south east of the uk, which makes it one of the home counties. kent is bordered by East Sussex, Surrey, London and Essex. in addition to these, Kent boasts a border with France, which is inside the channel tunnel. Maidstone is the county town of kent and Canterbury is the the county's only city.
