Everyone wants a quick fix, a quick check out, a quick commute and we treat dieting no differently. When we decide to lose weight, we want to do it quickly. And for all we know, quick fixes always result a quick failures. It is known that body weight is subject to the laws of nature. One cannot fool nature, as loosing weight does not guarantee success. However men and women, constantly choose to participate in weight-loss programs that almost always are more harmful than helpful, because weight loss is not purely fat loss.

Weight loss a combination of fat and muscle loss. It is the loss of muscle that mitigates long-term success. Even if one is participating in a weight training program during weight loss, there will some loss of muscle mass that is the primary determinant of one's metabolism. As muscle size is lost, one's metabolism drops. Not that they are always low in carbohydrates intake, but they are always encourage to do certain exercises.

The high protein diets are some of the unhealthiest diets for many reasons. It is popular because it has a target on protein. But high protein diets have been implicated in heart disease, osteoporosis, obesity, and many other chronic disease conditions. And many of us are all eager to ditch the rice cakes, carrots and low fat cookies. Eliminating things like rice, carrots, potatoes, peas, and corn is actually unhealthy. There is no benefit to eliminating the food groups that are the only sources of foods rich in antioxidants and phytochemical-fruits, vegetables and whole grains. We can control our insulin secretion by what we eat, but just the action of eating food in the gastrointestinal tract stimulates insulin secretion.

Flying in the face of conventional dietary thinking doesn't help. But we must know that eating doesn't make one fat. What we eat makes us fat. So how do we lose weight? and still be healthy? The best way to lose weight is not to gain weight. Eat as much healthy foods according to your balance of tolerance that you think won't make you fat or won't gain you weight. And always adopt healthy behaviors such as regular exercise, eating healthy foods such as fruits, vegetables, whole grains, legumes, nuts, and seeds, and supplement your meals with low fat dairy products. That's all one needs for a healthy diet that can be part of any weight loss program. It goes back with the old saying, "If it sounds too good to be true, then it is."

Keep a positive attitude of acquiring self discipline of balancing your food intake, maintaining a healthy lifestyle, getting a healthy food intake, and doing a regular exercise will all lead a weight loss succeeding attitude. Avoiding food intake, skipping meals, cutting food intake will never obtain a healthy weight loss, it might as well just lead some chronic disease. But maintaining discipline of healthy food intake and never over taking it will do help one gain a successful weight loss possibility.
