Sussex County is found on the southeast coast of England. It is usually sliced into East and West Sussex and is within easy reach of London and it's regions. There are many railway and road routes leading to its well-known towns such as Chichester, Bognor Regis, Eastbourne, and Brighton. The county is well known for its admirable countryside and spectacular coastal towns’ beaches and attractions. The terrain has been an extremely well-liked summer haven for tourists since the Victorian era when London’s society would travel to its coastline to indulge in the new and wonderful search of bathing in the invigorating seawaters.
One is faced with a difficult task of choosing which places to visit in Sussex because there are so many! Highly recommended sites to explore are historic houses, manicured gardens, old English towns, and their structures, museums, and so many more.

Its two trails, South Downs Way and Monarchs Way, offer walkers delightful opportunities to explore Sussex in all its mighty splendour.
Sussex is alive with endless things to do for adults and families, varying from enjoyable hikes across the stunning and un-spoilt countryside to sampling the exciting nightlife that Brighton has to offer. There are many first class golf courses including Copthorne and Hill Barn, and many other sporting attractions include the ever-popular Goodwood racing circuit. There are well-known museums such as Brighton Museum and the art gallery at De La Warr pavilion. Brighton is also home to the famous racecourse, or you could sample the delights of the English Wine Centre
Sussex has much to offer in terms of food and drink from traditional seaside fare such as jellied eels and fish and chips. There are also annual food festivals including those at Brighton and Horsham. The county offers a diverse selection of restaurants including the very best modern British cuisine at some of the country's best eating establishments offering local delights such as fish and selsey prawns straight off the local boats. Romsey lamb is amongst the best in the world, and of course, the fine selections of Sussex cheeses, all rounded off with a glass of wine from one of the county’s very own vineyards.
Sussex is a mecca for all kinds of entertainment opportunities to enthrall the visitor; Brighton's Theatre Royal and Chichester Festival Theatre are well-established venues to rival the West End. There are huge numbers of very traditional country and town pubs, some of which have been welcoming travellers for centuries. You will also find up market wine bars and bistros, as well as sophisticated nightclubs where you can dance the night away. Live music is very much alive and well at multiple venues across the county from the latest up and coming pop band to high quality classical music and opera events.
Generally, Sussex is an excellent place to go and relax. Compared to other vacation destinations, the place offers a more beautiful and peaceful adventure; one that is culturally rich, yet undeniably exciting as well.
