Have you ever thought about how you could utilize game sites in your Internet Marketing campaign?
This is an easy concept as long as your careful about how you do it. I’m going to talk about two of them today and hopefully bring you some insight as to how you can actually draw traffic from playing games and chatting with people.
If you have ever played any of the online game sites you would know that you aren’t supposed to advertise while playing them. But!! You do get to chat and make friends, which you can then instant message them and chat privately. Once you have an established relationship you can invite them to your “Facebook” or “Myspace” page and in turn get to access their pages as well. Now you can post to you “Facebook” or to their wall.
The best way to make this work is to be sure you have your own business page on “Facebook”. (If you don’t know how to do this then go to “Webopedia” It’s all very easy to do. With 150,000,000 people everyday, this is not to be taken lightly. Note: You must be tactful to do this.
Now about the Gaming sites,
I have chose to build this discussion around two different gaming site witch have the same yet different concepts built in. The first is “IGG games” where I play “Lords Online”. I really enjoy playing at The IGG site because they offer a different array of games in every genre’. They offer RPG games, (my personal favorite) and Adventure games. The site itself has an active blog and a forum where you can build a social climate over time, but they also have chat in the games themselves. The forum is there to offer tips and tricks for the game although there is some conversation there as well, where the blog allows people to post on various subjects even some personal links. The chat is where the most activity comes from because there is an incentive in chatting with in the game in order to build your alliance, while building a small community of friends. They offer both free and paid games and browser games or downloadable games.
The second gaming site is “Pogo” which offers a whole different style of gaming. It is more versatile in its amount and variety of games as well as in its social structure. From “Pogo” you can chat within the game the same as the “IGG.com” site, but you can build a much more productive social group from there due to the fact that everyone likes to share their “Facebook” pages. LOL. (Just couldn’t stay away from it sorry!) Now what’s cool is then people get to know you and then starts the emails.Once you establish a friendship you can connect through everyone’s other favorite…. “Myspace”. This can actually build you a great community if you stay active within it all.
I can build groups through both of these sites while I play, it’s in my nature to utilize the social structure to benefit my website traffic, I am a member of over 160 social sites and around 9 online communities. I am sure that with a little research you could find some other gaming sites to build relationships in, there are a ton of other sites with lots of traffic.
